The kindergarten program is designed to help stimulate a good self-concept and independence by building on childhood experiences. Kindergarten children will work and create independently and learn to work, plan and play cooperatively with others in a group. The program will provide opportunities to promote academic, social and emotional development, inspire language development and expand physical and mental growth. The program will provide a positive, caring and creative environment in which to learn.

Minnetonka elementary schools inspire children, grades K-5, to wonder, discover, create and excel. All Minnetonka elementary teachers are certified in elementary education. They are highly qualified, dedicated and caring professionals eager to work in partnership with parents to inspire children to thrive. Art, music, media/technology and physical education are taught by specialists in those areas. 

Our middle school program for grades 6, 7 and 8 is tailored to meet the special needs of adolescents, focusing on strong academic skills, confidence and self-esteem. Your child’s day includes a majority of time spent with a team of teachers, a daily advisory program and opportunities to explore developing interests. 

High School

A rigorous academic program well prepares students for college or the world of work. We offer a strong traditional High School math sequence, and we emphasize writing skills across every area of study.
