The Teacher Grant Program plays a critical role in fostering academic innovation in our District’s classrooms.  Each year, Minnetonka teachers submit grant requests for creative, educational ideas and programs they would like to implement for their students.  Since 1999, The Foundation has awarded close to $550,000 for grants that enhanced the curriculum in all academic subject areas, technology, fine arts, early childhood education, special education and community service.  Without the Teacher Grant Program, most of these enrichments would not have been possible.

New for the Teacher Grant Program!  The application process for Teacher Grants has moved online.   When you log on (via Single Sign On - Staff Page) to the Minnetonka Innovates website, you will see instructions that direct you to the Teacher Grant application form.  All website users will be able to view colleagues' ideas, post comments and reviews, and collaborate on the application process.  The deadline for applications is January 31st, but don't delay!

Fundraising for the Teacher Grant Program includes a community-wide appeal each fall, as well as two special appeals that honor Minnetonka teachers and staff members with poinsettias in December and Cookie Grams in May-June.
